Bethany College of Missions, located in Bloomington, MN offers a holistic program of missionary training. A one year intensive program of discipliship, biblical and cross-cultural studies followed by two-years of field-based in-ministry training leads to a BA in Cross-Cultural Ministry.

Biola University's School of Intercultural Studies offers an MA Intercultural Studies and a Doctor of Missiology through extension courses in Chiang Mai (Thailand) and Klaipeda (Lithuania). Two Biola faculty teach at the extension centers twice each year and students enrolled in these programs can complete their degrees through these 2-week intensive classes and other distance courses.

Biola University's School of Intercultural Studies offers undergraduate and graduate programs in linguistics, TESOL, anthropology, intercultural studies and missiology.

Columbia International University, located in Columbia, SC, is the home of the Zwemer Institute, Columbia Biblical Seminary and School of Missions, Columbia Graduate School, and Columbia Bible College offering accredited courses and missions majors and concentrations at the baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral levels.

The World Christian Foundations study program invades the mainstream curriculum, the legendary "liberal arts" curriculum, and invests it at every point with missions-oriented content and perspective, teaching everything people would normally learn in college and seminary (aside from vocational specialties) and doing so with a broad, 4,000-year global, mission perspective.

Lancaster Bible College's Department of Intercultural Studies offers 2 programs for missionary training -
1) Cross-cultural Ministry Program
2) Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) Program
Intercultural Studies majors are especially encouraged to complete their practicum in an international setting.

The goal of the Department is to generate in all students on the campus a concern for world evangelism and a commitment to a sustained participation in world missions. To accomplish this, the Department arranges missions chapels, works with the Student Missionary Fellowship, conducts the annual missions conference, invites special lecturers, supervises internship programs, organizes HIS (Helpers in Service) Ministry Teams, encourages prayer for the world through weekly times of prayer for missionaries, special prayer chapels, and weekend prayer retreats.  See their website for further information.
